Hope grows for Poland's Biebrza Marshes as an EU LIFE funded project by Polish BirdLife Partner, OTOP, and RSPB, gets into full swing. The fens, with 75% of the EU's most threatened migrant songbird, the aquatic warbler, are threatened by the growth of dense reeds, bushes and trees.
